About this print

Photographed in 1972, Slim Aarons’ Poolside Backgammon depicts sun-drenched leisure at Villa Nirvana, the Acapulco estate of Oscar Obregon. Guests lounge and play backgammon beside a sparkling blue pool under the tropical Mexican sun. With vibrant swimwear, modern architecture, and a touch of Riviera-style glamour, this iconic image captures the spirit of 1970s jet-set luxury and relaxed sophistication.
